Beginning January 24, 2026, the City will implement a 3.5% fee for all debit and credit card transactions. Online payments will still include the online payment provider’s $1.00 processing fee, if previously applicable.
The Utility Billing Department offers other payment methods to avoid credit card fees, such as setting up electronic fund transfer (EFT) payments directly from a bank account or using bill pay at your financial institution to pay your monthly utility bill. Please visit Utility Credit/Debit Fee Changes for more information regarding this process.
